Comments on this blog get forwarded to my email, and I check that on a multiple-times-per-day basis, so your comments should get a reply (if necessary) within 24 hours.

If you prefer to communicate directly via email, contact me at nakulas.sd@gmail.com.

If you find any dead links on this blog (e.g. to filehosts), leave a comment somewhere and I'll reupload it as soon as possible. I keep a regular eye on files I've personally uploaded, so those shouldn't ever go dead, but I also sometimes link to files uploaded by other people, so those may go dead if the uploader leaves their filehost account dormant for a long time or whatever.

Whenever I namefag on 4chan, I use the trip !Madri.UMKI (effective 2 Oct 2013).

Where to find things

The stuff I translate kind of gets scattered around a bit when I'm not the only guy working on it (e.g. manga and so forth). Briefly: pure-text stuff (some manga scripts; translations of web things; etc.) typically ends up on my pastebin. Other things that I work on alone (e.g. PDF-ized light novels; audio dramas; etc.) typically end up in my mediafire folder. Version history for extended projects (e.g. light novels) can be found on my bitbucket, though I only started using this in July 2013, so some early projects won't be there. Things that I've worked on with other people (e.g. manga, which I don't typeset/clean/etc) are most likely to be in a filehost or something provided by one of the people with which I worked; your best bet for these things is to look through the posts I've made about the things in question and follow the links there.

Regarding donations

If you really like something I've worked on, I certainly wouldn't mind taking some money (i.e. bitcoins) off your hands. Your donations primarily help me purchase/import merchandise (light novels, manga) for which raws are not available on the internet. Anything I purchase using donated funds will eventually be 1.) translated; and 2.) scanned and made available to the internet-using public.

Note that the rate at which I work does not depend on the amount of donations I receive. Also, your money may be better spent on supporting the original creators of the things I translate (obviously, don't buy a Japanese-language light novel or something if you can't read moonrunes, but if there's related merchandise available that is language-neutral or in a language you can read, consider purchasing those things).

    1. Sure. (Not that I think second-order Jap -> Eng -> Fre translations are a particularly good idea, but if you want to do that, knock yourself out.)

    2. Thanks !
Regarding this kind of translation, we're quite used to it on the French community of BT. Not a lot of us French translators can read and understand Japanese (I'm working on it). Yet, it's the only way for French people who can't understand English to read LNs, so I don't think they really mind reading a Japanese -> English -> French translation (at the very least, I don't mind reading the Japanese -> Chinese -> English translation of Mahouka...). But I was thinking about putting a link to your website for the readers who want to read your translation made directly from Japanese.

  3. Hallo Nakulas, I'm totally crazy about not able to read Kyoukai no Kanata novel (the anime is driving me crazy.... stupid cliff hangers). So I was wondering what the state of the project is and what people could do to help you out. Thanks for all your effort!
